Frequently Asked Questions

What is College Note Hub?
College Note Hub is a marketplace being built to help college students find useful student-created study resources and allow students to earn money from original study materials they have created.

What types of study materials can I find on College Note Hub?
Students may be able to find class notes, study guides, course summaries, flashcards, original practice questions, exam-preparation guides, study sheets, diagrams, and other student-created learning resources.

Can I sell my own study materials?
Yes. College Note Hub is being designed so students can sell original study materials they created themselves or otherwise have the legal right to distribute.

Do I have to pay to join the early seller list?
No. Joining the early seller list is free, and you do not need to upload your study materials yet.

How much can I charge for my study materials?
Sellers will be able to set prices for their own study materials. College Note Hub may provide pricing guidance to help sellers choose reasonable prices.

Does College Note Hub charge sellers a fee?
College Note Hub is still finalizing its marketplace fees. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed to sellers before they list materials for sale.

How will sellers get paid?
Seller payments will be handled through a secure payment system when the full marketplace launches. More information about payment methods and payout schedules will be provided before sellers begin selling.

Can I sell the same study material more than once?
Yes. Because study materials are digital, an eligible original resource may generally be purchased by multiple students, subject to College Note Hub's seller terms and policies.

Can I sell old exams or answer keys?
No. Unauthorized exams, quizzes, answer keys, instructor-only materials, and other restricted course materials may not be sold on College Note Hub.

Can I sell pages from a textbook or course pack?
No. You may not upload or sell copyrighted textbooks, course packs, or other materials you do not have permission to distribute.

What if my notes contain information from my professor's lectures?
Your own original notes may be eligible, but you are responsible for making sure you have the right to sell what you submit and that doing so does not violate your school's policies or another person's intellectual-property rights.

Does College Note Hub support cheating?
No. College Note Hub is designed to help students study and learn. Materials may not be used or distributed for academic dishonesty.
